What is our Reactive Lure Technology?

Our Reactive Lure Technology is a bespoke reactive thermal polymer gel that change its appearance and behaviour depending on how much natural light is available or the temperature of the water. This allows you to dynamically change your lure’s characteristics on-the-fly without having to change your lure. These changes can be colour, luminance, transparency or even firmness.

Born from the defence industry, our gels were designed for use in ballistics and are used by firearms professionals - it turns out they make great lures too!

Day and Night - Light or Dark

As the base gel is actually optically clear our micro photochromic spheres bounce the light throughout the gel allowing a much deeper penetration and faster reaction time. In clear daylight the gel will change colour in seconds and will fully change its appearance in less than 30 seconds. This allows the gel to react immediately to the conditions in the water. from deep water to mirky conditions the gel will change accordingly.

Mix and Match - Don’t like the colour or want additional details on the lure? You can mix the gels together to make your own unique design.

Reusability

If you are not happy with the lure design or the lure becomes damaged you can remould and reuse the gel multiple times making it a cheaper material in the long run than standard lure polymers.
